THE ORIGINAL MATTRESS FACTORY IS PROUDLY EMPLOYEE-OWNED. Our founder, Ron Trzcinski, instilled in us more than a better way to make and sell a mattress, he also built a company with strong values dedicated to ensuring that your experience is always friendly, honest and transparent.

We have 12 factories around the U.S., and all of them are open to the public for tours. (You can see a full list of our factories and stores here.) Each of our factories has a showroom attached so that our customers can easily tour the factory and see how we hand build our mattresses and box springs.
