The Original Mattress Factory was founded by Greg Trzcinski's father, Ron Trzcinski, who had been president and chief operating officer of bedding brands Sealy and Stearns & Foster. Ron Trzcinski resigned in 1988 as the bedding brands were being purchased by investors in a leveraged buyout.

Here at Discount Mattress Store, we sell directly from the manufacturer to the customer, thereby cutting out the middleman and any other additional costs. We don't have a fancy showrooms or pushy salespeople who make their money through commission. Lower overhead means lower costs, which means great savings for you!
